Fruit worthworshipping
Most fruit sold in Britain is picked green, held in cold storage for months and ripened with gas so it looks right on a shelf. It is a logistics product wearing a fruit costume. We do the opposite, and we charge accordingly.

Why it costs
what it costs
01
We buy by flavour
Supermarkets buy varieties that survive a fortnight in a lorry. We buy the ones that taste like something and get them to you in three days.
02
We pay growers properly
Every box lists the farms in it by name. They set the price, we pay it, and we tell you who they are. That is the whole model.
03
We ripen, not gas
Nothing is picked green and forced. Fruit arrives at the point it should be eaten, which is why some of it needs eating on Thursday.
Three steps.
